2 year old's speech is a bit random?

DS turned two last week and I'm a bit worried about his language development... He has a good vocabulary and is putting words together (mummy gone, tall tower etc) and asking questions (what's that, where's the cow) but I'm pretty sure no one else would understand a lot of it! He does some 'normal' stuff like says guck instead of duck etc but still says things like koi for pig (his way of saying oink), he calls daddy doodah and the latest is Ri coo which is a kangaroo! He also misses the end sounds off a lot of words. Should I be worried or is he just working things out in his own quirky way??

Sounds exactly like my two year old I wouldn't worry at all they all develop at different speeds. My DD was more interested in running, climbing, dancing etc & i'd say has only really started to focus more on her language in the last 4 months or so.
