DD is a nudist

My DD 3 undresses the minute she gets home from anything and refuses to wear clothes at home. Even when she was a baby she hated clothes.I've always felt that she has her whole life to wear clothes and it has never troubled me. I'm just wondering how long I should let it go on for?

I had considered that. I make sure her clothes are as comfy as possible. Cashmere sweaters, pure cotton and so on. I did try to take the hard line on underwear for a while but she wore me down. They are way to easy to take off.

Long as you can. DT2 is also a nudist. DT1 isn't! Go figure. He loves being nekkid and she can't be bothered either way. He wears clothes when we are out or he's at someone's house, but we walk through the door and the clothes are off.

Many a bemused face as people step through my front door lol

How warm is it in your house? I always have the belief that children will dress if they are cold.

I remember going to a outdoor picnic with dd aged two last year, on a very very hot day, and she stripped down to her underwear - what surprised me was that she was the only child to do this out of about 50 children.

my dd is also a nudist. Can just about get her to wear pyjamas if we have guests and she does accept that she has to wear clothes if we are leaving the house. At first, it was quite weird, but now the whole family just accepts that dd2 doesn't wear clothes and that's that.

Belgo - it doesn't seem to matter how cold the house is. I went through a stage of thinking that she should wear clothes, so dressed every one else warmly and waited for her to agree to get dressed. I gave in before her and lit the fire.

some kids just seem to live at a different temperature to the rest of us.

My DD is cold a lot to, although my house is very warm. She'll just go find a blanket. How old is your dd Squonk?

DD2 is the very same. I don't really care - it keeps the washing down, I guess. She too happily wears clothes when out and about, but strips as soon as she gets home. Gets many a runny nose, though, and I'm sure it's because she is nearly always sans vetements.

my dd2 is 2 1/2. She was always happier without clothes, even from being a newborn. Doesn't seem to get too many colds though.

my mum said i was like this when i was younger and she siad once i spent the whole of xmas day nude i was about 6 and she just let me do what i wanted as long as it was only family in the house

DT2 is a boy! Definitely not a girl thing. My girl DT likes clothes... especially yellow ones.
