Hi there. I'm a new mum and new to mumsnet. I can see from alot of the threads that people refer to their child as DD however I just can't figure out what it stands for. Can someone please enlighten me lol?

Dear Daughter / DS =Dear Son. Took me a while to work things out too.

There is (or certainly used to be) a glossary of terms etc somewhere.
