Hi

My dd is "flicking" her thumb nails against her teeth and it's driving me nuts.

I keep her nails as short as I can and she's not actually biting them as such.

So far I am just ignoring it. We stopped bf about 4 weeks ago and she's starting to suck her thumb a little bit too.

She does it randomly thru the day but also when dropping off at night as we lie down together.

So, continue to ignore it and hope she stops of her own accord? Can't actually think of anything else to do really.

Anyone else experienced similar?

TIA

I'd say ignore it. She needs the freedom to make whatever comforting movements she can for herself....I can't see what you could do about it, anyway, really!
