Over stimulation

Hi All

I'm new to Mumsnet. My DS1 is 10 months old and I wonder if my over stimulating in early babyhood can cause the long term effects such as the over touching of wires, glass cabinets, coal fires. I ask because my baby seems to be touching everything more so than any of his baby friends and I am a little concerned.

Why do you think you have over-stimulated your child?

Babies do touch things - it's quite normal.

You don't see other babies for such long periods of time as you see your own, so you can't really compare them ... the other babies are probably just as much into touching as your son.
