screeching and screaming

Hi all
Ds2 is 18 months and has started to screech and scream. It's mainly when he wants something or doesn't get his way.

He is quite a clingy child (oh thinks it's cause I bf him till 14 months) and can tantrum at the drop of a hat.

Do I just ignore the screeching? Is there anything I can do? Maybe it's his teeth?

Watching as my 16mo is at the same phase. I think it's the start of toddlerhood.
Sorry I'm not much help, I tend to ignore it but it's embarrassing when we are out.

By the way I wouldn't have thought it's anything to do with BFing, my kid isn't even clingy but she's still very screamy!
