Found this on another site, thought you ladies might find it amusing!

The Property Laws of Toddlers...

If I like it, it's mine.
If it's in my hand, it's mine.

If I can take it from you, it's mine.

If I had it a while ago, it's mine.

If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.

If I'm playing with it or using it in any way, all the pieces are mine.

If it looks like mine, it's mine.

If I saw it first, it's mine.

If you are playing with or using something & you put it down, it automatically becomes mine.

If it's broken, it's yours.

Golden Rule: What's Mine Is Mine And What's Yours Is Mine!!

So true. So frustrating. Every morning we're woken up to the battle of the fire engine, or tractor, or train, or or. So when thy're 3 & 1.5 how do you deal with toy snatching? Snatch it back? Ignore & let 'em battle it out themselves, try bribing the younger one to give up the vehicle in question? Ban all vehicles from the house? Have a bonfire?

My dds are 4 1/2 and 2 and if they fight over a toy, either big dd will get another for herself or sis, if that dosn't work and the battle continues the toy gets taken away! If they cant play together or share it they cant have it! . Then we have a minutes wailing, I leave them to it, another minute and they've found something else to do. Works most of the time.
