Baby with bumpy head from forceps

My baby was delivered by forceps after a long and difficult labour. He has had a soft fluid filled bump on his head since birth. Every time I see a health visitor or GP I ask about it and they seem unfussed but give me no information.

I don't think it causes him pain. Will it ever go down? @There is one bump on his forehead and one on his hairline. Anyone come across this before? Here are pics at birth and now (4.5 months)

My DS had this but at the back. He's 2 now, and honestly that area of his skull is a bit bulge-y but not that you can tell unless you're looking for it/know it's there! He'll be fine :)

He is SO delicious. That little pursed newborn mouth...I love it so much.

Sorry not helpful, but your son is gorgeous.

Honestly, you should see my pics as a baby, I look like a misshapen ailien! My dad said he was horrified when he clapped eyes on meGrin I think my mum must've been blinded by love.

It'll go down.

I was just curious on if the bump ever went down? Many many many moons ago they used forceps on me. It slipped and left my forehead with a buildup of scar tissue and a bald spot.
I was looking around to see if there were others like myself and came accross this thread. I was hoping to find adults and see what they have done to make it less predominant but on the other hand it was refreshing to see how adorable this little one was. Thank you
