hello im crazygirl and i do think im going mad i have an 8year old and he is a night mear i carnt get im to listen to me he throws kicks things he as even said he would hit me i really dont no what to do i tryed talkin to the school everything i try blows up in my face

First of all, often boys misbehave if they're not getting the discipline they need from their dad. Is his dad fairly hands on? If so, how does your son respond to firm discipline from him?

If dad isn't around much, this behaviour from your son could be a kind of cry for a male role model. Perhaps an uncle or granddad could help by spending some time with him, or you could get him into a Cubs group.

If you're really worried, try talking to your GP and finding out whether perhaps some counselling, eg from the school nurse could be helpful.
