My 5 year old has just finished giving me a lesson in how to kiss someone properly

Him: I kissed (longterm 'girlfriend') today.
Me: Oh! You did?
Him: Yes, i can do it really gently and thats nice and girls like that.
Me: (trying not to laugh) Ok!
Him: But you cant do the huggle-ing type of kissing (comes up to me and gives me a hug) like that otherwise you have to get married and we are not getting married. We are going to live together instead.
Me: Right! Does know this?
Him: Yep, she has chosen the carpets.
Cue him bursting into tears saying that he will miss me so much......

Oh golly! He is coming out with some really funny things at the moment - perhaps 5 really is the best age at which to stay!

I am still laughing - i think i need a little book to write some of the things they say down to read when they are behaving like horrors!

'girlfriend' is coming for first tea/play tonight although they have been bestest friends since nursery, tis first 'date' time...

He sounds like a riot. Have you met your future daughter in law?
