Hi all,
I've posted on here before about my DS's development but I think it was under a different name. I'll try to keep it short but basically his overall development is giving me no end of worry and anxiety, one area of which is his sitting.
Ever since he was around 7 months old, DS has been able to sit independently, gradually building up the length of time before he topples over or starts crying. He's now 10 months & I've only really stopped surrounding him with cushions and can leave him with a few toys while I get on with a few bits around the house. However, today he has fallen backwards twice, bumping his head. This is not entirely unusual. He is a strong boy and not floppy so I'm not sure why he's doing this - I'm worried sick that it's neurological. Has anyone had any experience of this in slow developers? DS is starting to try and pull himself up on furniture, he bum shuffles a little and is babbling a bit. He launches forward to crawl but ends up flat on his tummy, going no further, he loves to stand, makes good eye contact, can feed himself and is generally a happy chappy.
Does anyone please have any thoughts / reassurances?
