How does the pasta jar work?

Do you start with it full or empty, and do you have a good and a naughty jar or just one?

Or do you throw it at your child when youve had enough

Any suggestions gratefully recieved. Tried sticker charts but came to the conclusion DP needed one too.

When I use them I start with an empty jar and pasta gets added when each goal is
achieved, whatever you
decide it is, e.g. not waking you at night, eating veg, behaving etc.
I NEVER take out of the jar again because they earned the pasta they've got and I don't think you should take away things like that. Then when the jar is full you can decide on the reward. The useful thing about this method is that you can decide on the size of jar and size of pasta. Your child might be too young to wait too long so get bigger pasta in a smaller jar, of if you're feeling cruel buy the tiny soup pasta and fill up a bucket.

Thank you! We're going to start it tomorrow. DD is actually quite excited by the idea, and wants to choose the shape of pasta.

{Starting with a jar, bucket just a bit too cruel!)
