Favourite bedtime stories for babies

My DS is 7 months old and we read to him all the time, with a special bedtime story each night. At the moment his favourite is 'Goodnight Moon', but I'm on the hunt for some other ones. Any recommendations, preferably ones that are about going to bed/sleeping? Thanks!

We read to our 5 month old but at the momentit tends to be winnie the pooh or beatrix potter (these are blatently for my enjoyment as much as DS)
'Guess how much I love you' is a good one with a sleep theme at the end

My favourite bed time story has to be Can't you sleep little bear, maybe better when he's a little bigger though.

Am intrigued - do you just read to them so they can hear your voice, or let them see pictures too?
I've just instigated a new bedtime routine with my 7 month old, to get away from feeding him to sleep in bed and we sit down with a cloth book or board book or two before he has his bed time feed (now downstairs on sofa).
He's always loved books but would want to turn the pages himself if we used anything more grown up than board books, which means they get crumpled pretty quickly.
I'm all for reading to them - we did do it before he was born!
How does it fit into your routine?

DS has loved "What Do You Say" - (it has cartoony pictures of animals and the sound they make) since he was about 7 months. Not really a bed-timey one, but I think he liked the cuddling-with-mummy time.
I sit him on my lap with the book open so he can see the pictures and point to them (although now he says "dog" "quack quack" etc)

My DS's favourite book is "Kiss Goodnight Sam" which is lovely story about a mummy bear putting her baby bear to bed - I love it too although I am going off it as have to read it several times each day! It has basic repetitive text, and he can says bits of the story and likes to look at the pictures and point out things and knows.

All of the other books he likes are really suitable for bed time as he gets to excited at the pictures of fire engines and diggers etc!

I would highly recommend "Kiss Goodnight Sam" though

Goodnight Moon, Polar Bolero (i love this one) and Sam Sheep Can't Sleep were big hits in our house.

Thanks for all your suggestions everyone! I'll have to look those out.
Floraflora, after bathtime we sit in DS's room and I hold the book so he can see the pictures, and I point things out to him as we read. Then we walk around his room and say good night to all his things, and then I feed him. He still feeds to sleep, which I would eventually like to get out of the habit of doing, but just now it works for us.

Our 6 month old loves:

Peek-a-boo by Jan Ormerod which is a lift the flap one
DK Touch and Feel Baby Animals
Tickle Tickle by Helen Oxenbury

All three of those we got when ds1 was a baby more than 7 years ago, and have now done 3 children. I also keep meaning to fish ou Peepo by Janet and Allan Alberg

i was going to say peepo wallace is ds1s fave and so by default has become ds2s!

DS (9 months) adores any of the Spot books. I think they're rubbish, but he can't get enough of them. We always have one of those followed by something else.

There's a fab one about a panda looking for somewhere to sleep. Can't remember the title (don't want to disturb ds by looking now). Might be called Little Panda. It is textured, and ds loves stroking the panda.

Sometimes he wants to look at the pictures. Other times he just wants to eat the books.
