Standing

Hi, my lb is 11 months old, nearly one and basically he can crawl, he pulls himself up to stand, let's go with one hand, cruises but just won't stand on his own, he will fall to check floor even though he stands perfectly fine without holding on ( he's done it a few times but only if you put him in the standing position) is there any way to encourage this ? X

Ours didn't do that till 18 months; when the time is right, he will do it.

He'll figure it out by himself soon enough, and then you'll wonder why you ever wanted him to walk.

Mine could stand and cruise at 11.5 months, but ended up on his butt if he tried to take a step by himself. He's 12.5 months old now, and he's running all over the place causing mayhem now.
