My boy has a wobbly tooth

and I feel inexplicably emotional - feels like the beginning of the end of childhood. I didn't feel sad like this when he started school, but I've cried about this! I can't believe he's growing up so fast!

It could keep you emoting for weeks tortoiseshell - ds's first wobbly tooth eventually lodged in a half-eaten apple after we had all given up hope of him ever stopping wibbling about it...and I almost swallowed it by offering to finish the apple.
It's a milestone, no doubt about it. They look half-crazed for at least the next couple of school photos - like a Matt Groening cartoon at its worst. Now that made me cry!
