character building, leave him to it

PinkTulips · 29/01/2007 12:16

dd went through that stage too, and ds is just getting to it now.

it's frustrating but perfectly normal

MerryMarigold · 29/01/2007 12:18

yeah, character and muscle building. my ds spent ages pulling his legs up behind him and rocking back and forth. took ages to actually crawl, but when he did, he was a brilliant crawler. yours sounds v young still.

Agree with the others. Can take quite a while for them to reach the next stage, but you cannot do anything much about it...

mufti · 29/01/2007 12:26

merry marigold, he is 7m today. i'm not bothered about averages , i know things happen when they happen. and i can still leave the room without worrying where he may end up at the mo'.

Sorry - when I said you can't do anything much about it, I meant the frustration, not the pace of development!!

mufti · 29/01/2007 12:40

thats why i asked, it's good to be able to find out that what you are seeing is normal. i did distract hin after a while, he's now helping metype, as i felt he was getting a bit fed up.
