Hi, what age do you stop giving your baby/toddler milk in a bottle and just before bed? I'm thinking we should start transitioning off but been hesitant as DD doesn't sleep well and we can't read a bedtime book as she finds it too stimulating

Any suggestions/advice welcome

I really struggled with DS and the bottle, he's 2 now and still won't settle without it before bed. We've tried a cup but that makes him worse. I spoke to my health visitor at his 2 year check and she wasn't conserned.

Hi my LB us just 2 and still has his, I've decided not to worry about it, he has a cup during the day and just a bit of milk in a bottle before bed with a story it then teeth and sleep. I can't see any harm in it if it acts as a sleep trigger or calming for them. I'm sure he will stop when he's ready.
