Games for 5 and 10 year old

I'm looking for family games that my bright and games savvy nearly 6 year old, my less bright and less games savvy 10 year old, my dp and I can play together without the grown ups going crazy with boredom and which everyone (even me!) has a chance of winning without too much help. We love Uno, we play some card games like Go Fish, and we have a lot of Mancala tournaments (but the 5 year old nearly always wins!) Any ideas?

my 5 yo enjoys junior monopoly and junior scrabble. Me and dh play them with him alot they're both good for adults as well as children

We have got a great family game ~ Cranium Family Fun Edition. My two children are 7 and 10 and they love it. You have to do all sorts of challenges, it had us in fits of giggles and is really good fun. We also love uno.

Thanks everyone - I'll go out and buy Cranium tomorrow - I thought it was for older people. Actually, tomorrow we'll be watching Dancing on Ice - family telly instead of family games! Thanks for all the other ideas - I hadn't thought of Monopoly because I thought ds was too young, I didn't know there was a junior version. A trip to the toyshop, I think. Any more ideas out there?

Pass the bomb (junior version?) and Headbanz. Our school held a games afternoon for parents - what games teach our kids type thing. These two games were nominated because they are just good fun (although help with vocabulary, reasoning etc). We had a great time - and not a kid in sight. Bought them for my dcs at xmas.

As someone said earlier, we're fans of the cranium family fun game too - make sure you get the right one. There are various editions of Cranium about, and the original one probably would be too grown up. It is genuinely fun, but the best thing about it is that it only takes half an hour or so to play! We also play yatzee and Uno. Hope this helps.
