Would anyone mind posting their rough routines/schedules for their 11/12 month old babies. Having a bit of trouble with 2-1 nap transition so wondered what your wake/nap/bedtimes are roughly?

DD is 12 months, she wakes between 4 and 5, has 40/45 min nap around 10, then another 40 mins around 2, goes to bed between 6.30 and 7.

Mine is 13 months been doing same routine since 10 months

Up at 7am breakfast and bottle

10.45 nap until 12.30 or 1.30 depends on her

Lunch when wakes

Drink juice water

Snack around 3 biscuit or fruit, handful of dry cereal at moment

5 dinner

6 bottle

Bath and bed 7

Sleeps through till 7 and do the same thing again! De ja vu every single day

Very occasionally she will have a ten minute snooze around 3.30 but I only let her have 10 mins

Im fairly inflexible unless poorly. But it works a treat for me

I don't go out until after her morning nap otherwise it throws her out.

waitingforsomething · 06/07/2016 07:52

so you're on one nap grassgreen? When does she have lunch after she wakes?
I used to have
Up between 6-7
Breakfast 8
Nap 9.30-10/1015
Lunch 12
Nap around 1.30-3
dinner 5
Bath, bottle, bed 6.30-7

Last couple of days it's gone tits up severely, today for example he had one nap for 30 minuts 9.45-10.20
then put him down just before 2 and he didn't go sleep till 2.50! It'll be a late bed tonight which is fine but perhaps I need to push onto one nap even if he's a bit tired in the mornings. DD switched to one nap a bit later but they're all different!

sorry I just read her lunch was after.
I don't have the option of c.11-1 nap time as have older child to either take out or collect from pre-school so it'll have to be an after lunch which I'm not convinced he could make

Since about 10 months this has been or routine (Dd is 14 months and still not quite ready to drop from two naps to one - I tried and it was disasterous!):

  • 6:30am: wake up + milk
  • 7:30: cereal + banana
  • 9:30-10:30: nap
  • 12:00: Lunch
  • 2pm - 3:30pm: nap
  • 3:45pm: snack
  • 5pm: dinner
  • 7pm: bath
  • 7:20pm: milk + cuddles
  • 7:30pm: sleep

Mine works but that is because I only have one.

My friend does hers slightly different as she has two other children.

Up at 6 breakfast followed by bottle

9.45 nap one hour

Lunch at 11

Drink

Nap at 2 ish 1 hour

Snack

Dinner at 4.30 bottle straight after. But bottle is given constantly until bath and bed at 6 so baby drinks 8oz over course of 1 1/2 hrs
