Hey I'm New to Mumsnet. I've heard job seekers allowance now comes under universal credit as does child tax credit. I recently put in a claim for job seekers allowance and was told I won't receive the money for 6 weeks under the new rules. Does that mean when I apply for child tax credit I'll have to wait 6 weeks for it or will it be processed as normal ?. Would be very grateful for any answers it's so confusing. xx
