Mark/bruise on 3month old foot

Hi wasn't sure where to post but I just noticed a red mark on the sole of my baby's foot. Kind of looks like a bruise not sure, it isn't hurting her just worried as I don't know where and why it has appeared. Any advice please mums

Could it be a slight bruise from holding feet during nappy changes?

I only say this as my ds used to have bruises fairly often and still gets them occasionally on his legs as he wriggles so much when having his bum changed so I have to hold him fairly firmly if it's a really messy one. my HV said its fairly common. If your worried ring your HV and ask her advice

Can bubs grab their feet? Maybe scratched with nails

Or looks like a birth mark I have similar on my finger

Didn't wanna take any chances I took her in to be seen by the doctor. Had to check for meningitis but luckily was that type of rash/mark. Doc says he not sure what it is but she's fine in herself and he's not worried just to keep an eye out. She is very kicky with her legs I just wanted to be safe. Thanks ladies
