18 month old dd is a biter

I know she'll grow out of it but any tips for managing in the meantime?
Fortunately it's only me, for the most part & DD1 twice, and nursery are aware and monitoring closely but she has really sharp teeth & it hurts.

Just don't give it much attention, stop her and say no then distract, too young really for any explaining or time outs etc to have an effect I think

Agree with Abbinob. Also try to work out - with help from nursery - when it's happening (eg is it a fight over a toy? when she is hungry or tired or teething?) so you can monitor her most closely in those situations.

If she's still doing it as she gets older, you can try to teach her what she should do instead of biting/lashing out - eg find another toy, say "stop that", tell a teacher, go find a quiet place etc. But she's too young to get that now.

Sympathies - being a biter's parent sucks! But nurseries are generally unfazed.

Thanks - nursery are great, although I worry about the other parent when she inevitably bites someone.
Today she was biting the kitchen when she couldn't open something & the dolls head.
It's mostly frustration but is definitely worse with teething. Unfortunately because she has hearing loss she's going to have delayed speech too so another frustration point looming, although pretty good understanding which helps.
Managed to get anbesol on without being bitten via miming & repeating no biting a few times. Small wins!
