Dore/Learning Breakthrough Programme

I suspect ds may have ADD. Has anyone used either the Dore Or Learning Breakthrough Programme? They are both basically exercises your child does at home which are supposed to create more connections between neurons in the cerebellum and thus improve attention, memory, learning and behaviour. The theory is that ADD, ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia are caused by an under-developed cerebellum.

Any feedback gratefully received!

caterpillar,
I have no personal experience of the Dore programme but I know there has been a great deal of criticism of it in the press, most recently the Sunday Times I think. The studies into its efficacy are flawed and the theory upon which it's based remains only a theory. I have not heard of it doing any harm but I personally would not pay for it.

I think there have been some threads on Dore in the past. If you go to the search facility at the top of the page and type in "Dore" hopefully some will come up which might be of use.
