DS Bathing/washing question

crunchymummy · 08/04/2016 13:51

My mum thinks that when bathing 11 week old DS she has to pull his tiny little willy all the way back so much so that when I look at it I think ouch that looks painful! Now I completely understand that I need to pull it back to wash which I do but my mum thinks its CRITICAL and needs to be done in similar way that she does it...

Is she right does it need to be done ALL the way back so it looks almost TOO far or am I ok doing it my way - gently pulling it back and splashing water over it....

Haha I hope my post makes sense?

You don't need to pull it back- poor wee boy!

Neither of you is doing the right thing - a gentle wash around the outside area is all that's needed.

Thank you!! I KNEW it didn't sit right with me que flood of guilt - just a gentle wash on the outside from now on

Yep leave it alone. The first person to pull it back should be the owner of the penis. Pulling it back too early can be painful and cause other problems

Ditto. Don't pull it back!

Christ leave it alone, he'll pull it back when he's ready.
