Is this her first tooth finally or just a cut or something on her gum... it looks too far forward in the gum to me, I expected them to grow in the middle of the gum if you see what I mean?

First pic is today, second pic from yesterday.

It doesn't look like a tooth quite through, to me at least, although it could be the stage you get a week or so before where you can see the white top edge of the tooth through the gum. Being that far forward is normal, the main bulk of the tooth is central to the gum but the top cutting edge is towards the front iyswim. (If you feel your own bottom teeth you will see what I mean).

You will know when it's through - just rub your finger along the gum top surface and if you can feel a hard and razor sharp line then it's through!
