Help. Is this a testosterone thing? Ds is trying to be annoying to his sister and me, repeating everything we say, not listening (par for the course, obviously) showing off, screaming when his dsis is reading, won't sit still at the table. What is effective at this age? I've banned TV for now but that's only been since yesterday...

More outdoor play? He fights about who has the ball but does want to play football.

Low iron? Dinner is awful. He gets v ratty when hungry and needs an aft snack. But I suspect dinner would be better without it. Just not sure how to get him thru.

More male company - we struggle with this as his dad works long hours. Could try a football club etc. I've been reluctant up till now as he already has pre school till 3 each day.

Any advice?

You are not alone. My DS also 4 is impossible at the moment. I would like to see others' replies. I just don't know how to 'deal' with him. Sad

Too much energy and trying to test the boundaries.

My sister has 'trained' her son to run tracks around the garden or do little on-the-spot exercises like star jumps. If she has time the best option is to take DS to a park and just release him to burn that energy out.

Avoid sugar at all costs!
