How cute is waving??? :)

Am overjoyed with ds' new trick of waving. We spend hours waving at each other. First time mum stuff I suppose, but just wanted to share the joy, [cheesey smile emoticon]

Ah, but wait til you say "wave by bye to X" to demonstrate his new trick and he looks at you like you're insane

ds1, 17m, has just started waving. it makes me want to squeeze and kiss him! lol
he waves to everyone as we get of thebus and chirrupps 'ta-ta' to the driver.
i think its lovely.

my DH taught my DS to clap hands and will do it on command - its SO SO cute...until my mother came and i proceeded to show her and my DS looked at me like i was insane!!!

Soooo cute. DS now also shouts "TA TA"

It's amazing when they learn new stuff. DS2 has just started to blow kisses.
Babies are great!

My dd is 10 months and can't wave yet but she shook her head at me for the first time a few days ago to say no.
I keep offering her food she doesn't want just to see her do it because it looks so cute.

Ds is 8 1/2 months but it took weeks of me waving crazily and him staring at me for him to catch on. His first wave dh and I gave him a huge round of applause,he looked so proud of himself. Refused to wave in Tesco today though, preferred excited singing and biting the trolley.

ds has just started this and he loks so surprised every time he manages it.

wait til he learns to kiss...... my heart melted when dd did and i turned into a sobbing heap on the floor

My ds is a bit older but takes the waving thing to extreme lengths - he waves at everything and anything. He's quite fascinated by wheelie bins and even waved at one a few weeks ago.....!!

yup i push her stroller and dd (11m) waves to anyone and everyone we pass along the way. but when i say 'wave bye bye to daddy' she looks hard at me, as if i were a moron . i think she is a mini-queen in training.

My daughter makes me smile soo much, we wave to each other to say goodnight and goodmorning, hello, goodbye, and she waves at some people we meet when we are out, which makes them happy to. She doesn't wave at other people though, makes me think she is at least a bit discerning Daddy gets good waves too, but I get more

mine is sooo undiscerning, since she could smile she has been 'spreading joy' amongst the populace and acting the tyrant at home!

We often say 'say goodbye to tescos/hotel/car etc' !! and DD often does - she's 5!!

DS (3 1/2) waves etc, but best/worst thing is kissing goodnight as he reallly puckers up (think Pingu's mouth) and gives the wettest coldest kiss you've ever had. He thinks its great. Its v sweet but - yuk. (go on....who wipes their mouth clean afterwards when their LO is not looking ).
