going abroad: should we take pram or buggy for 3 month old DS?

We're about to set off for Central Asia with 3 month old DS. We have a Quinny pram attachment, buggy attachment and carseat (all fit into the same wheels).

The instructions say the pram bit can take a baby up to 9 kg, but DS is only 6 kg and he's already pretty much the length of the pram.

Does anyone have tips on this? I'm inclined to leave the pram bit behind and just put him in the buggy when we go out (it's bloody freezing there so he won't be going out that much till the spring, when he'll be 6 months?

thanks for any advice!

buggy. and a sling! that would be much the easiest imo.

buggy and a sling! travel as light as possible and you don't want to be lumbered with a bulky thing that's no use when away from home. Slings and baby carriers (backpacks or ergo type things) are heavenly creations especially for travelling with wee ones. Have a good trip!
