she has a 6 years old ds, that since divorce
has sleeping in the big bed with her,,,

it's now 9 months that she has a very nice
partner that lives with them, ds loves him
but he has moved in his bedroom...waking up about 4-5 times a night,,,,since then...

also she is 4 months pregnant and very tired........

how can she helps ds and finally having a restFUL NIGHT?

Also thinking of putting the baby in the room with ds as soon as possible...

if that helps!

Could she let the DS still have one night a week in bed with her, a special night? Boyfriend to shift elsewhere that night?

Friend did that with her DD (age 4 when parents separated). Until the DD was ready not to. Really helped the DD feel secure in relationship with her mum, especially when her mum remarried.

What about a reward system, like first time he manages 2 nights in a row without bothering her, he gets X, then 3 nights, then 4 nights, then 5, then 6 in a row -- to get X each time.
