Baby with Colomba (tear drop pupil)

Gave birth a few days ago. Baby passed neonate check. I then pointed out to the dr that my baby has a tear drop pupil in one eye (colomba). He wasn't worried and said he would refer us to ophthalmology review.
Anyone else have this? Really hoping all will be ok with his eye sight.

I had a friend years ago with a Coloboma (not a Colomba), he looked really cool and had no problems with his vision whatsoever.
