Just thought it may be helpful to those thinking about forking out for it if we had a list of who found it uselful and who didn't? So then they can weigh up the averages.

TIA

I found it helped lots

I think it helped after a ventouse delivery, certainly reassured me.

Chiropractor for me, but does similar things - helped both of mine immensely.

Took my DS to a CO after a ventouse delivery and 2 weeks of latching-on hell! - 2 sessions were all that was neoded to release the compression in his neck so he could open his jaw properly and he was feeding very happily - made my world a whole new place - would definitely do it again.

It helped my ds at two weeks old with colic it was miraculous, he also treated my 3 year old for free at the same time and the night after and ever since she slept better than ever. I hionestly can't speak highly enough about CO.

carol3 · 02/01/2007 00:40

Agree with you all, ds2 a different boy. Just wish I'd known about it with ds1, worst baby in the universe. Love him to bits though

Booked DS1 (5) for tomorrow to try and sort out glue ear, will report back

KezzaG · 02/01/2007 11:56

CO saved my life, and I dont think I am overexagerating. ds didnt sleep, cried all the time, wouldnt lay flat and was always scrunched up and frowning, was sick all the time etc etc. HV just said some babies cry a lot v helpful. Took him to CO at 12 weeks and at the first session after about 10 minutes he visibly relaxed, let out a long breath and fell asleep. Took 6 sessions in all but any more children I have will be straight there as soon as possible.

Ulysees · 02/01/2007 12:11

hope it helps geoteach.

KezzaG I can well believe it.

Once this thread is even longer we should send this somewhere? Maybe assocation of midwives?

My 5 week old DS cries most of the day (except when feeding), has excessive wind (out both ends)brings up his food quite alot, and just seems generally unhappy
I am thinking of trying CO. Can anyone in London recommend one??? I am just a bit worried about just pulling a name 'out of a hat'

NAB3 · 05/01/2007 11:37

Was fantastic for our youngest. In fact, he is having another session this afternoon.

geogteach · 05/01/2007 11:43

CO was very professional, basically DS is so bunged up there is nothing he can do until we've seen ent to unblock his ears.
