Is this normal after circumcision?

My 7 year old was recently circumcised.
He has wet himself twice after this claiming to not feel it.

He has had a change in behaviour lately, before the circumcision. So im wondering if the accidents are down to either issue...

Was the circumcision for medical reasons?

It may be (assuming it was done for medical reasons) because he can't feel the foreskin 'ballooning' when a wee is imminent..as he would have done with an over tight foreskin... tho if this was the case he must have been leaving it til the last moment!

My DS1 was circumcised at 6 because of a very tight foreskin , but I don't remember any wetting after however!
