Teething or ..........??????

Over the past couple of weeks 10 month old DS has completely gone off food, (except finger food which he plays with and maybe eats a little of then throws on the floor).

Past few days he has a bit of a temperature, is crying lots, and has a snotty nose and occassional red cheeks and nose. Is not sleeping well day or night either but then he hardly ever does so nothing new there.

Also have had some spectacular 'No 2's' where there appears to have been an explosion in his nappy!

Have noticed that his top gums are particularly 'bumpy' (only has two bottom teeth so far). Is it likely that all these symptoms are cause by his top teeth coming through? Cause that is what I think but DP claims I blame everything on him being 'tired' or 'teething'????????

Definitely sounds like teething to m e - mind you I did the same and blamed everything on teething!

my ds2 had same symptoms but he was being horrendous and his temp went up quite alot. i took him docs and he had an ear infection-he was 11 months old. he didnt do the classic signs of earache, either. just a suggestion, but definitely sounds like teething.

also to help symptoms have you tried teething granules? try boots. i swore by these for all 3 ds's.

also cold (in fridge) teething rings?
