How to educate my 2 year old ?????

Have no idea on how to educate my two year old on coulers and numbers and pictures ect x any fun ideas x

Just read a book with him, point out the colours of thins you see around you, count how many steps you take or puddles you jump into. And don't worry about it too much at that age!

Make cakes
make playdough, use it with diffrent tools
thread beads

You dont have to do much, just follow his intrests and have fun

Talk to him about everything and describe it for example look at the brown dog, he says woof, where are your red shoes, this your left foot, this is your right foot.

Counting games on toes and fingers are fun at bath time.

Most important things you can do at this age are building a secure attachment, being warm and responsive, talking and listening with your child, singing a range of songs, reading a range of stories and trying to introduce her to a wide vocabulary.

Those the basis of education. Teaching colours and numbers at this age is pretty irrelevant.

I wouldn't 'try' to educate. I just tried to have fun with my DCs, we read stories where we could interact, played counting games and colour spotting games. We donned our wellies and puddle jumped and played Pooh sticks. Sigh they are too big to play with mum any more

All these things can be incorporated into everyday life. While getting dressed in the morning, always point out the colours of the clothes he's wearing - should we wear the blue jumper or the yellow one today, let's put on your lovely red socks etc. When visiting a friend, say you're going to knock on her green/black/white door. Say how lovely the red apples or yellow bananas are that you're going to eat. If you regularly use a small staircase, always count the steps as you go up and down them. Count his buttons as you do up his coat. When putting on his shoes, pick up the shoes one by one and say "one shoe" and then "two shoes", before putting them on. He won't actually recognise colours or be able to count (as opposed to reciting the numbers) until his brain is ready, but you are preparing him for that by giving him the vocabulary he needs, in advance.
