Would a 5-year-old like a Thomas annual book as a present? And a Pokamo0n annual book for a 7-year-old?

Please help, I only have a baby and have no idea what these kids like... I can still go and buy something else...

Not every 7yo is into Pokemon, either. But would be fine with my boys at those ages. Actualy, my 7yo would love the Thomas Annual, too

They said they liked them. 5-year-old seemed really pleased with Thomas. 7-year-old said he did not know what Pokemon was but sat still for 30 mins doing the puzzles anyway and carried the book around with him for most of the evening.

If Thomas is too babyish at 5 then why not buy him aftershave instead?! How ridiculous - most boys will still love Thomas at 5, though they might not admit it at school

the book had puzzles and wordsearches etc, it would not be any good for a 3-year-old, it was definitely aimed at scool-aged children

Oh for goodness sake my opinion differs to yours.
No need to react like that. My ds would have been mortified with Thomas at 5.
