Top Trump cards, book perhaps a tie-in with Dr who or Robin Hood, disposable camera, Millets and Blacks have a range of outdoor gadgets such as a mini torch, compass etc

Any book from the Captain Underpants range. My nephew loves them. I have bought a Captain Underpants activity book with stuff about how to draw cartoons. ps be warned, they have revolting titles - his fav is Captain U and the Wedgy Woman

Thanks for those ideas. Its a gift for DD's best friend and I was a bit stuck - don't know what he's already got so its tricky - I think maybe a sticker book or the mini torch/compass ideas might be the best bet.

Thanks
