Change in dirty nappy frequency

Wasn't sure what section to put this in . . .

4mo DD is EBF and normally only poos once every two or three days, however over the last week or so she has suddenly started going about three times a day.

Is this sort of change normal or should I be concerned about the sudden change in habits?

I think with bf babies it can change a lot without warning. Mine barely used to poo, I'm talking like twice a week, and then it was like a switch was flipped and now it's at least one a day!

I think as long as the poo looks normal (eg no blood, not green etc) then it's fine. But you could always keep an eye on it and take her to docs if you're worried.

The poo looks fine, and DD is happy and healthy and feeding fine so I'm not too concerned, it was just the speed of the change that surprised me!

Will keep an eye out for any other changes just in case.
