Not sure which area to post this in - development/feedin/weaning, so sorry if I've got it wrong.

DD (7 months) cut her first tooth on Saturday - yippee - and since then isn't interested in any food other than milk - is this normal or should I be worrying? Am not normally a paranoid mummy but am having a wobbly day today!

Is she ill in any way? As long as she's not ill, and she's drinking plenty of milk, then I really wouldn't worry. She'll probably be interested in food again fairly quickly.

Maybe you can give her some finger foods that she can hold and knaw on?

Thanks for the speedy responses. We're doing BLW so she has finger food anyway. In all other aspects she's fine and is still drinking her milk fairly well. Will try to chill out!

Just had her weighed - she's still bang on the 75th centile so no worries there

My DS goes off his food quite often for things like teething or colds. He's 14 months old now, but I've only just learned to chill out about it. He always makes up for it when whatever the issue was has gone away. I found it really frustrating as feeding them up seems to be what we're here for! But if she's still drinking milk then you know she's getting nutrients and hydration. Congrats on the first pearly white!

Thank you! Am inordinately proud of her for growing her first little toothie.
