Gets so worked up she pukes!

DD1, age 3.5, can get herself in such a state she boaks.

Tonight, she has a cough caused by post nasal drip as far as I can tell - BIG front of low pressure moving in. She couldn't fall asleep for it, and was crying and carrying on.

So I finally dosed her w/Robutussin.

She then carried on crying so much, she's now sitting in front of 'In it to Win It' whilst her beloved cuddly toy is in the machine getting the puke rinsed off him.

She's all cheerful now.

WTF?!

Anyone else's kid do this?

Seems so fargin' melodramatic.

Long hair and puke SUCKS to clean up!

My homemade pizza all over the place in chunks.

Not to mention she piddled all over the bathroom floor.

I can handle puke pretty well, but this time I had to put some lavender oil on a bandana and tie it over my mouth and nose.

Yep, my dd can do this. Mine does it to show me just how CROSS she is though. She did it on Friday, puked newly ingested pasta in tomato sauce all over herself. I sympathise.

WWW it was in CHUNKS! I really struggled to hold down my tea.

Now she's here saying 'I need to calm down.'

No shit!

The smell is HELL to get out of long hair. I had to use the shower nozzle, which got her even more frenzied.

She apologised to her cuddly toy, nicknamed 'Dog', as he spins round in the machine.

'Sorry, Dog, didn't mean to get puke on you.'

He was reeking for Edinburgh, poor thing!

ah bless, she sounds very sweet. My dd was bright red in the face, flailing around on the floor, snot everywhere with pasta down her front looking as if I'd just cooked it, pretty much. It was a little bit chewed but not much I hope your dd's asleep now!

expatinscotland · 09/12/2006 22:44

she just went down.

we don't have quick wash on the machine.

so she was watching xmas music videos on Freeview.

'Dog' was still pretty damp, no chance to put him in the dryer for a bit b/c it's in the bedroom where DD2 sleeps and we have to hang the hose out the window.

so i wrapped him up in a towel b/c he's wet and told him he just has to watch her in the corner of her bed so he won't get cold.

Why are kids so manipulating!

My ds does this too. He cries so much then says 'your going to make me sick'

Usually if he gets himself in a state we take him to bathroom as 9 times out of 10 he is sick.

expatinscotland · 09/12/2006 23:38

I just had this feeling she was going to be sick.

Arrgggh.

Then she's so sweet. 'Sorry, Mummy.' In that gorgeous accent. Ach, her voice is like a song. 'Go on, then, Mummy, gies a cuddle.'

How can I resist.
