Private speech therapy in Warwickshire area

Hello. I posted yesterday regarding concerns about my son's speech development.

He is due to start SALT at the end of this month. I'm also waiting for a referral to a paediatrician for a more overall assessment.

I'm just wondering if there is anything more I should be doing. Has anyone used and can recommend any private speech and language therapists in the Warwickshire area?

Any advice gratefully received. DS is 2.10 and has a receptive speech delay of a year and is at least six months behind with his expressive speech. Thanks.

I'm a speech and language therapist. If you want to see someone privately, look at 'Help With Talking' website - you can search for a local SLT who does private work. Look for someone who specialises in Early Years.

When you say he is due to start SALT, is that for a block of sessions, or for an assessment?

Hi. That's for a block of sessions. He's had an assessment.
I suppose I was just wondering if extra classes in addition would help. If anyone has found a particular therapist in the area they could recommend.
