4 month old jerky movements

My 16 week old still has jerky movements - I'm a first time mum and getting abit worried as I thought these were meant to go by now?

He can grab things and bring them to his mouth but sometimes he will literally slam his arms downs down etc... And in the bath he does it more. He does so fluid moments when he rubs his eyes and rubs his head etc it's maybe more when he's excited or frustrated. Is this normal?

I've reported your post for you OP so hopefully it will be moved soon.

As to your question it sounds normal to me but if you are worried, have a chat with your health visitor.

It sounds ok at 4 months, especially if he is making some smooth movements too.
