DS banging his head?

My DS is 9months and has learned to pull himself up and walk around hanging on to the furniture in the last couple of weeks. Obviously he falls over alot and generally i don't worry about it, he lands on his bum, his nappy takes most of the impact and he doesn't really notice, just gets straight back up again. But he has been bumping his head what seems like alot too, as he wants to climb everything, through everything etc. Today he has banged himself on the forehead three times quite hard, and now has a bump and a bruise. Is there anything i can do to prevent him bumping himself so much. short of a padded helmet, and should i be worrying about it, terrified he will fracture his skull or something! Any advice greatly appreciated,

sounds like typical 9 month behaviour to me! I wouldn't be overly concerned to be honest. I would invest in a MR Bump Cold Compress from Boots (about £8 but invalauble when you consider how often kids bump themselves)!

Thanks for the reassurance Lazylou, will be getting one of those tomorrow!
