when my ds was born i was given second hand one of those three in one travel systems - it's a bebe confort one from a few years ago - and don't have the instructions for it... not sure when i am to stop using the pram and put him in the buggy instead - he's about 13lbs and there's hardly any room for him in the pram, he can't flail his arms around without bashing them on the side...

depends on the buggyseat, does it lie flat or recline? how old is your ds?

I changed my DD's pram to buggy when she was 10 weeks (12lbs, she's a big girl but as littleducks said it does recline so she is not upright, she's kinda in a bouncy chair position if that makes sense. I changed as DD was straining her neck to look through the mesh, so to save she neck muscles I changed it so she can have a good nose....she loves it!

ds was only about 8 weeks when we went from totally flat to very reclined. He was a big baby though and always strong - by that time he was already rolling, and just didn't like lying flat on his back any more. Reclined just seemed more sensible than him trying to roll while in the pram!
