My little one went through this stage at that ages to, she's 5 months now and still does it from time to time I honestly couldn't find anything to work, I would go into her room to find her with the biggest grin and I would be like noooooo! I found if they don't sound distressed leave them too it. They will soon drift back off (maybe try a dummy now and again) if there in the room with you it will be hard I know.. I believe they just want to see mummy or daddy cute but not in the early hours! Lol x

Thanks. I ended up putting him in the sling till he fell asleep. We have a different issue tonight, he will go to sleep but wakes every 45 mins! I'm knackered and getting mastitis.Sad I just want to bloody sleep!

Oh no that's not good, my sister has a little one of 8 months who's doing the same my sister said it was sleep regression... Very normal I'm going to have a read up on it.. First time mum here so no real idea of anything! Maybe have a read too, I do honestly think it's that dreaded word .. A "phase" my little ones "phase" has lasted about 5 months and 5 days ... But I'm sure it will pass.. Or so I'm told anyway!
Good luck hope you get some sleep soon!! X
