Bedtime feed screaming - help!?!

Hi all,

So our lil one will be 4 months next week. For the past 2-3 weeks we've had some issues around bedtime feeding.
Daddy takes main parent role when gets in from work, we take him up for a bath around 6-6.15, he may have a cry after his bath as getting bedtime tired. Get him dressed and take him down for his bottle.
Around 10-15 min into his feed he screams the house down, nothing will comfort him, up to 30 minutes! My hubby works himself up too... We've tried changing his bedtime routine to earlier and now have changed teat to next size up. This helped for 2 days.
Last 2 nights the screaming has happened again!
Eventually calms down & then takes the rest of his milk.
Take him up to bed & get his grobag on & he's happy as anything smiling away! Then gets into bed & asleep within 10 minutes! Proper Jekyll & Hyde moment!

Someone said their LO was exactly the same when they were this age & eventually grew out of it.
He doesn't suffer with colic or reflux and doesn't have an issue once back on bottle.

Any advice to try to stop this 30 minutes issue for both our sake and mostly his??

Thanks

could he just be too tired. what would happen if you gave him.his bottle earlier then did the bath.

dd2 always got restless and seemed to be uncomfortable until we swapped bath time and bottle time. she went down no problem after

We know he's tired as when he's being calmed down he's half asleep & you can see how shattered he is. We don't think it's anything medical related as only this feed is affected. But thanks for your suggestion & to be honest Hubby said the same thing earlier, maybe to give him his bottle around 6/615 then let it settle for 10, then take him up for his bath & bed. May be something to try...

how often does he feed? 4 months ish was around the time mine dropped a feed. although it was the 11pm feed rather than the 7.00 one but if you feed your baby later in you could possible see if he would go without it?

He feeds anytime between 4am and 6am and usually has 6oz then goes back to sleep till 730/8ish... Has a feed by 830am then it's every 3/3.5 hours. 6oz a time. Up until this screaming started we had upped bed feed to 7oz as was drinking the lot.
He then sleeps from 7pm/730pm until the early morning, so can't push the night feed any later as doesn't have another one until the morning!
We may try the feeding at 6ish and then bath by 620ish and then he's in bed same time as normal if don't opposite way round.
