Breastfeeding problem 10 weeks in

Sorry if this is the wrong section. I am breastfeeding my 10 week old and suddenly I have a problem. He is refusing left breast - used to be his favourite and when I try pumping from this side only a few mls is coming out (maybe 5ml) . I used to get loads from pumping and he used to love feeding from this side so I don't understand what has gone wrong. This is going on about 2 days

Firstly, just to say that it can be very normal for pumping output to reduce around this age as your supply regulates .

Is he latching onto the left side at all, or is he completely refusing to? Is it possible he is uncomfortable on that side? For example, could his ear be sore, or if he has had vaccinations recently perhaps his leg or arm is sore? He might even be teething? You could try feeding him the opposite way from usual - so if you normally feed in a (cross) cradle position, then try rugby ball style instead, or vice versa. You could also try offering the left side at night time and/or when he is sleepy as a way to get him back into feeding from that side.

I hope that that helps a bit, but you could also try the Infant Feeding section for some more suggestions.

Thanks I just created new post there. He is refusing it. I pump everyday and had no problem getting milk before
