Hi everyone,

Hope someone can help me?
My daughter has just turned 3 and she has been waking up in the night for the past couple of months and coming into our bed.
I ask her why she is doing this but all I get is 'just because I want to.'

We have recently moved house (about 3 months ago) so it may be partly to do with that, but she loves the house and her room is lovely. We have also recently just had a baby boy, he's now 2 months old so she is probably feeling unsettled with that too?

How do I help her to stay in her bed?? Help is needed!!

We had endless problems with our eldest. We finally got there with silent returns. Take her back to her own bed while interacting with her as little as possible (kind but detached). Do this as many times as necessary. Some nights seem endless, but after a while you get there.

Please don't do silent returns. You're DD has had two huge changes in her life and she's obviously reaching out for reassurance and comfort, even if she's not aware of it. Make the most of the cuddles for now - she'll soon grow out of it.
