31/2 year old DD has recently started repeating the sound ah ah ah ah when she's talking. She is not struggling to say the word as such, but is doing this as if it is a habit she's developed. I was wondering had anyone else's LO had a similar habit, and did they grow out of it?

Yes but it started later and they did grow out of it but it took a few years really.

My Mum's advice was to accept it and not to make mention of it - my brother had done the same thing apparently.

Brain going faster than tongue? Both mine did a bit of this but grew out of it as their vocabularies widened and their phrases got more sophisticated.

Ignore it and it will pass. Do not draw her attention to it or it will become a tick
