Men b vaccine with 3rd set vaccinations

Hey, has anyone had any reactions to the 3rd set of baby vaccines with the new men b one? Dd got hers the other day but hasn't really been well since, is still feeding etc ok but keeps getting high temperatures, and there's a red circle around the injection mark on the leg. We have seen a Dr and they said just keep with the calpol and neurofen as long as feeding etc all ok... Has anyone experienced anything similar?

This sounds like it is the expected reaction to the Men B, it has a really high rate of high fever post immunisation. Really horrible to see in your lo though , hope she gets over it soon. There is good information on the fever on the menB webpage.

Thank so, it's just day 2 now since getting them and one min her temp is fine and then it shoots back up

I would say if it has been over 48hrs since the injections and the fever is still coming that it may be good to get dd checked over. Has dd been feeding ok? Producing plenty wet/soiled nappies?
