which is the best cream for treating nappy rash? I find sudocream ok as a day to day and for very mild nappy rash but I'm wondering what the best thing is for treating a bout of bad nappy rash?

Bepanthen is amazing I think!

Metanium. We used to call it Magic cream.

I second metanium. It does stain though so be careful with clothes/cloth nappies.

Bepanthen excellent

Metanium made both my children's bums worse! I really wanted to like it as it is made locally, but it wasn't right for us. Sudocreme was my go to nappy cream.

Bepanthen and sudocrem are completely different beasts. Sudocrem can be very drying and make rashes worse sometimes. Bepanthen forms a barrier and is very softening.

Different creams suit different bottoms! Sudocrem has always worked well for us, it's bepanthen and metanium that have made things worse.
